Born, raised, and more or less continue to reside in New York City. Worked as a bike delivery boy, a bricklayer, a firefighter, a coffee picker, a mystery shopper and—most recently, and for the longest stretch—a literary book scout. Teaches creative writing at Writopia Lab, reads fiction for the Drift, and works as a developmental fiction editor with Cornerstones Literary Consultancy. Finalist for the Marianne Russo Award for Emerging Writers (2023). Writer-in-residence (past or forthcoming) at 33 Officina Creativa (Oct, 2022), Willapa Bay AiR (April, 2023) Marble House Project (June, 2023), and the Stadler Center of Literary Arts at Bucknell University, as the Philip Roth Resident in Creative Writing (Spring, 2022).
