Born, raised, and more or less continue to reside in New York City. Worked as a bike delivery boy, a bricklayer, a firefighter, a coffee picker, a mystery shopper, an advertising stooge, and—most recently, and for the longest stretch—a literary book scout. Teaches creative writing to kids and offers freelance editing services. Finalist for the Marianne Russo Award for Emerging Writers (2023). Writer-in-residence (past or forthcoming) at 33 Officina Creativa (Oct, 2022), Marble House Project (June, 2023), and the Stadler Center of Literary Arts at Bucknell University, as the Philip Roth Resident in Creative Writing (Spring, 2022).
