Javier Zamora’s “Unaccompanied”

…In September of 2017, a young man by the name of Javier Zamora published a book of poems. The world noticed. The twenty-something Salvadoran-American won a boatload of awards and accolades. He was honored by Barnes & Nobles, Narrative, Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, and the Macondo Writer’s Workshop. He earned a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and served as a Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford. It has all been deserved….
